Journal Article 2023 07 10 The present study aimed to investigate the role of community participation and impact of tourism on residents’ support for development of sport events tourism in coastal cities. The method is practical in terms of purpose and is descriptive-explanatory based on data collection which was carried out in a survey way. The data collection tool is a standard questionnaire. The sample size was determined 384 people based on Cochran's formula. Quantitative methods and EXCEL and SPSS software were used to collect data, and PLS Smart software was used to analyze the data due to their non-normality. The results show that the path coefficient between community participation and residents' support for the sport tourism development is 0.276, the path coefficient between community participation and the socio-cultural effects of tourism is 0.653, the path coefficient between community participation and the economic effects of tourism is 0.567, the coefficient The path between community participation and environmental impacts of tourism is 0.646, the path coefficient between socio-cultural impacts and residents' support for sport tourism development is 0.203, the path coefficient between economic impacts and residents' support for sport tourism development is 0.227, and the path coefficient between environmental impacts and residents' support for sport tourism development is 0.265 in coastal cities. The results show also that there is a significant relationship between community participation and the social, economic and environmental effects of tourism in coastal cities, and we can achieve the desirable results by strengthening them. مطالعه حاضر با هدف بررسی نقش مشارکت جامعه و تأثیر گردشگری در حمایت ساکنان از توسعه گردشگری رویدادهای ورزشی در شهر‌های ساحلی انجام گرفت. روش پژوهش از لحاظ هدف کاربردی  و براساس گردآوری داده‌‌ها توصیفی- تبیینی و از نوع همبستگی است که به شیوه پیمایشی انجام گرفته است. ابزار گرداوری داده‌‌ها پرسشنامه استاندارد می‌باشد. نمونه آماری با استفاده از فرمول کوکران، 384 نفر تعیین شد. برای جمع‌آوری داده‌ها از روش‌های کمی و با استفاده از نرم‌افزارهای EXCEL و SPSS و برای تحلیل داده‌ها به دلیل غیرنرمال بودن آنها از نرم‌افزار PLS Smart ‌هااستفاده شد. نتایج بیانگر این است که ضریب مسیر بین مشارکت جامعه و حمایت ساکنین از توسعه گردشگری ورزشی در شهر‌های ساحلی276/0، ضریب مسیر بین مشارکت جامعه و تاثیرات اجتماعی-فرهنگی گردشگری شهر‌های ساحلی653/0، ضریب مسیر بین مشارکت جامعه و تاثیرات اقتصادی گردشگری شهر‌های ساحلی567/0، ضریب مسیر بین مشارکت جامعه و تاثیرات محیطی شهر‌های ساحلی646/0، ضریب مسیر بین تاثیرات اجتماع- فرهنگی و حمایت ساکنین از توسعه ی گردشگری ورزشی 203/0،  ضریب مسیر بین تاثیرات اقتصادی و حمایت ساکنین از توسعه ی گردشگری ورزشی 227/0 و ضریب مسیر بین تاثیرات محیطی و حمایت ساکنین از توسعه ی گردشگری ورزشی 265/0 بوده است.<strong> </strong>نتایج این تحقیق نشان هنده این است که بین مشارکت جامعه و تاثیرات اجتماعی، اقتصادی و محیطی گردشگری در شهر‌های ساحلی رابطه معناداری وجود دارد و با تقویت آنها می‌توان به این تاثیرات مطلوب دست یافت. https://arsmb.journals.pnu.ac.ir/article_11017_d32465f56e73c005dfb0cd2b81e5b014.pdf
