The Purpose of this study was to assess the relationship between cultural intelligence and achievement motivation of sport event volunteers. The applied method in this research was descriptive – correlation. The statistical population consisted of Sport Volunteers at the 11th Iranian Universities Sport Olympiad in summer 2012. Because of low statistical population it was considered as the sample population (n=N). The research Instruments was the “cultural intelligence questionnaire” (CCI, 2005) comprised 20 items and “achievement motivation questionnaire” (McClelland) composed of 11 items. The content and face validity of the questionnaire was confirmed by university experts panel. Cronbach’s alpha coefficient was used to test the reliability of the questionnaires in pilot study. The reliability of cultural intelligence questionnaire and achievement motivation questionnaire was 0.72 and 0.74 respectively. Descriptive and inferential statistics were used to analyze data. The research hypotheses were analyzed through regression with stepwise method. The result of regression analysis showed that metacognitive CI and motivational CI was explaining %24 variance of achievement motivation (F (2,117) = 19.39, p ˂ 0.001; R² = 0.249). The results of this study can create good vision about the importance of developing cultural intelligence and achievement motivation for voluntary affairs managers. <br />

The aim of this study was to determine the mediate role of professional commitment in relationship between job characteristics and job satisfaction among Iranian soccer referees. 174 soccer referees in premier league and 1 league responded to Jacko’s questionnaire (2004), Aranya's questionnaire (1999) and MSQ (1967). Validity of questionnaires was confirmed by university experts and confirmatory factor analysis and their reliability verified by Alpha Chronbach (r=0.85). Friedman and t Wilcoxon tests showed that characteristics of task significance, skill variety and specialization had more effectiveness than characteristics of process information and feedback. Also, involvement was the most important dimension of professional commitment from participant's view point (p≤ .05). Structure equations model analysis illustrated that professional commitment can significantly (R2= .94) be facilitate relation of job characteristics and satisfaction among soccer referees (RMSEA= 0.076; λ2/df= 1.98; IFI= .92; CFI= .92; GFI= .94). According to the present research results can be stated that other attitudinal and psychological constructs such as professional commitment could be have better conditions in cycle of job characteristics model in sport settings. Additionally, description of job satisfaction among participants showed that unemployment, payment and management are from unsatisfactory factors and social status and work values are from satisfactory factors. According to the result of this study can certainty be expected that will be improve their commitment and satisfaction by enriching the job characteristics among soccer referees.

Studies have shown it is essential for organizational successful to have leadership effectiveness. This is true to all organizations as sport organizations. Hence, it is important to identification of factors that can be related to leadership effectiveness. Therefore, the purpose of this research was designing of intelligence models needed for leadership effectiveness of sport managers. The Statistical population were all managers (N1=331) and staffs (N2=1621) of Sport and Young's Ministry, National Olympic committee, National Paraolympics committee, National Olympic Academy, and Sport Federations. Based on Morgan table, 180 managers and 367 staffs were selected with stratified sampling and random sampling for this research. Shring (1998) emotional intelligence questionnaire, Van Dyne and Ang (2004) Four Factor cultural intelligence scale questionnaire, Albrecht (2002) organizational intelligence questionnaire and Leadership effectiveness questionnaire (1388) were used to collect data. Validity of the Questionnaires was confirmed by experts and the reliability coefficient for the emotional intelligence questionnaire (α=0/80), cultural intelligence (α =0/89), organizational intelligence (α =0/88) and for leadership effectiveness questionnaire obtained (α=0/90). Data analysis was performed by multiple regressions. Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) was performed with AMOS graphic/18for modeling as well. The results showed there was significant relationship between emotional intelligence, cultural intelligence and organizational intelligence and leadership effectiveness. Finally, with regard to these results, it is recommended that in designating sport managers the following features is considered: emotional intelligence, organizational intelligence and cultural intelligence.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the role of Competitive Advantage in Customers Satisfaction of Birjand's swimming pools. The research method was a cross-correlation. 214 customers of Birjand Pools completed 2instrument of this study: Competitive Advantage questionnaire (Hoseini,2011, α=0.87) and Customer Satisfaction questionnaire(Servqual 1994, α=0.87) that assess the competitive advantage and Customers Satisfaction in swimming pools respectively. For data analysis,It was used Kolmogorov-Smirnov test, one-sample t-test, Pearson correlation and multiple regression analysis. All data were analyzed with software Spss18 and at significant level p<0/05. The findings showed that there was a direction and significant correlation between the evident advantage (r=0.30), sustainable advantage (r=0.40), dynamic advantage (r=0.38), congruity advantage (r=0.42) and compound advantage (r=0.27) to Customers Satisfaction. The results of stepwise regression analysis showed that the predictor variables could totally explain the 33% of the total variance changes of Customer Satisfaction as well. According to the results of the research ,it is suggested that pools managers increase customers satisfaction and loyalty through development
of competitive advantage.

The purpose of this study was the environmental analysis of the structure of sports in Iran based on a hierarchical model of sports. Reserch method is of descrietiv-anlytic and applicable in terms of objective. Methods of data collection are included library research, Delphi method and finally a researcher made questionnaire.validity of questionnaire confirmed by experts. Using Cronbach's alpha, the reliability of the questionnaire was obtained as 0.94. The statistical population of the study consisted of staff- and operational managers of the Ministry of Youth and Sport, and heads of federations, experts and managers of sport associations of sport federations, managers of Olympic and para-olympic national Academy and faculty members who are specialists in sports and are informed about the research topic. In this study, the sample was determined as equivalent to the research population and by counting all. Out of 302 questionnaires sent to members of the research population, 238 questionnaires were filled (79 percent). For data analysis, descriptive statistics and inferential tests including the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test, comparison of the mean of the population (one sample t-test), Friedman's analysis of variance and Kruskal-Wallis test (H) were applied. The results showed that professional sports in Iran were in conservative strategy position (WO). The most advantage point of professional sports in Iran is the presence of spectators in sports, while the main drawback is the lack of based teams in the clubs. The most important opportunities of professional sports are theyoung population and the interest and potentiality in sports; whereas the most important threats lays in political misuse of professional sports.
