This paper aims to study the barriers of using information technology in teaching Physical Education in Deprived areas. In terms of methodology, the study is an applied survey research that was carried out in the form of field study. The population of the study consists of all sport teachers and School administrators in deprived areas that 2034 people of them were chosen as the research sample. The research instrument was a researcher - made questionnaire that its face and structural validity and reliability were evaluated. The result data were analyzed through using statistical methods of exploratory factor analysis and path analysis by SPSS and AMOS software. Factor analysis results showed that, in general, five factors accounted for about 72% of the variances. The results of the present study showed that all of barriers had significant impact on using information technology in teaching Physical Education on Deprived areas. The results showed that Cultural barriers had the highest impact (0.587) on using information technology in teaching Physical Education in Deprived areas. Thus, based on the necessity of information technology development in the educational system,cultural matters is highly recommended being taken in consideration by the authorities and government.
