Abstract

The aim of the current research was the comparative analysis of perfectionism of executive and technical factors in sports. It was practical in terms of descriptive-exploratory analysis and it was obtainable in the survey method. The statistical population in the qualitative part included all university experts in the field of organizational behavior and in the quantitative part it included all athletes, coaches and managers of professional sports in the country. Sampling in the qualitative section was purposeful and accessible, and interviews were conducted with 20 experienced university professors. The statistical sample in the quantitative section was determined by using Morgan's table of 353 people, after returning 374 questionnaires, it was observed without defects, and the same was used as the final sample in data analysis. Data collection was done in the qualitative part by using qualitative interviews with elites and in the quantitative part by using a researcher-made questionnaire consisting of 34 questions in 4 dimensions and on a five-point Likert scale. The data were analyzed in the qualitative section using the interview analysis method and in the quantitative section using the descriptive and inferential statistics methods and with the help of SPSS version 21 and AMOS software. The analysis of interview data and the results of data classification and coding showed that the factors affecting perfectionism in managers, coaches and professional athletes of the country from the point of view of experts with 34 items in 4 general categories of individual effective factors (14 items), interpersonal effective factors (9 items), effective environmental factors (6 items) and effective organizational factors (5 items) were placed. The results of Friedman's test showed that according to the average ranks, the individual effective factors variable has the highest rank and the environmental, interpersonal and organizational variables have the lowest rank among the variables. The findings showed that the model of factors affecting perfectionism in managers, coaches and professional athletes of the country has a good fit. Also, there is no significant difference between the degree of perfectionism of managers, coaches and professional athletes of the country.
