Abstract
The aim of the present study was to identify the consequences of designing a football kindergarten model with a physical literacy approach. Current work with children interested in football focuses more on specialized education in this field, while developed countries have made major revisions to their children's sports structures and designed programs that meet the basic needs of that era. The research is qualitative, applied in terms of purpose, and exploratory in nature, in which the content analysis method was used. The statistical population consists of academic experts and specialists, prominent football managers and coaches (grassroots), and specialists in the field of children. The non-probability purposive sampling method and semi-structured interviews to theoretical saturation with 18 people from three countries, Iran, USA, and Canada, were used to collect data. Then, MAXQDA20 software was used for analysis. The research findings included 44 open codes that were located in 13 sub-themes and 7 main themes, including: developing key skills (mental skills, psychological skills, communication and social skills), educational outcomes (educational and developmental effects), long-term sports development outcomes (Achieving goals in line with the LTAD model), future-oriented progress (ready for success in the future), challenges (leaving the activity if the program is not implemented properly, restrictions on other sports disciplines), health-oriented activity (healthier future, prevention and treatment, mental health, physical and executive benefits), economic benefits (economic optimization and increased economic turnover). As a result, designing a football kindergarten model with a physical literacy approach has many positive consequences for children interested in football.
