Abstract

The purpose of this study was to design urban sports venues with crime prevention approach (case study of Tehran city). Professors and scholars, considering their expertise in geography and urban planning and based on Cochran formula 337 persons were used. Based on the results of eight components (location dimension, social sustainability dimension, environmental sustainability dimension, economic sustainability dimension, external landscaping dimension, safety dimension, aesthetics dimension). , Later identified as the juxtaposition of the sport environment) Factors were 63.73%, which indicates the predictive power of this model. According to Cronbach's alpha test, reliability of urban sports design questionnaire with crime prevention approach is (0.82) and acceptable. The mean observed (5.018 ≤ 3.3) revealed that the design condition of urban sports venues with the crime prevention approach in the research sample was more desirable than the hypothetical one. The Friedman test showed that the highest mean was related to the aesthetic component (43.43). 5) and the lowest rating is related to safety component (3.95). Based on these results it is recommended that design and construction approach Modern and sophisticated in the country, with the efforts of crime prevention authorities in the field of sports infrastructure, including standard and up-to-date sports facilities and places, it seems crucial.
