Abstract

The purpose of the current research was to investigate the factors of organizational commitment on the individual characteristics of coaches of Iraqi football sports teams with the mediation of the role of job satisfaction. According to the subject of the research, this research; It was descriptive-correlation type, applied in terms of purpose and field type in terms of data collection method. The statistical population in this research includes football experts including coaches, referees, athletes, presidents and managers of football clubs and veterans of this sport and sports management professors in the country. In this research, the sample size of all people studied was estimated by random approach and stratified sampling method, and Cochran's formula was also used to determine the statistical sample, and finally 150 people were selected as a sample. In order to ensure the reliability of the questionnaire and to measure its Cronbach's alpha, the structural equation model technique and the partial least squares method were used to analyze the data. The results showed that there is a direct, positive and significant relationship between organizational commitment and personal characteristics of trainers. It was also found that organizational commitment has a positive effect on job satisfaction. Therefore, it can be concluded that the organizational commitment and personal characteristics of trainers have a significant effect on their job satisfaction. Therefore, in organizations and work environments, improving organizational commitment and strengthening personal characteristics of trainers can improve their job satisfaction.
