The impact of privatization on the performance of privatized sports facilities and spaces from the customers' point of view

Abstract

The overall goal was a descriptive analysis of the role of privatization of performance in specific sports venues and spaces. The research was conducted in terms of practical purpose, descriptive-survey in terms of data collection method and mixed (qualitative-quantitative) based on the research approach.

In the qualitative part, in addition to interviews, documents, research results and existing Persian and Latin reference books related to privatization were used. The statistical population of the quantitative part included privatization specialists, managers and experts of the General Department of Sports and customers. The qualitative method of content analysis was used to create the model, and the descriptive-analytical quantitative method of the correlation type based on the structural equation model was used to test the model.The research results showed that 45 conceptual codes and 7 main categories includeimproving the quality of sports services, effective administrative processes, effective planning, facilities and hardware, customer satisfaction, development of social relations and finally safety and security. The findings of confirmatory factor analysis showed that that privatization has a positive and significant effect on the performance indicators of privatized places and spaces from the point of view of users.Also, the model had a good fit. It is suggested that the government should be responsible for support, supervision and policy making And for private sector investors, provide transparent protection laws, cheap facilities and incentives.
