Abstract

Emphasizing component identification and future research, this study investigates the maturity of human resources (HR) in physical education department of state universities in Iran. A mixed research approach was used to collect relevant data. In the first stage, the literature was reviewed, a number of experts were interviewed, and theoretical saturation was reached. Next, the expert group identified the strategic outlook and risk variables by determining the prospects of the variables. The findings confirmed the impact of HR leadership, employee and labor relations, HR perceptions, HR development, HR service compensation, HR planning, and HR strategy on the maturity of human resources in the study population. In addition to these variables, organizational knowledge, authority delegation, and participation in design and deployment processes are among the most important sub-variables in the context of human recourses. It is strongly recommended that physical education departments consider the abovementioned components in their attempt to develop an optimal strategic plan for human resources maturity.
