The purpose of this study is to survey the policy of the tourism industry in the development documents of the Islamic Republic of Iran with emphasis on sports tourism. For this purpose, among the development documents of the country, eight development documents that are currently valid and current were purposefully selected as a sample. Data were collected by documentary method and then analyzed qualitatively. The results showed that in the Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Iran, the vision of the Islamic Republic of Iran on the horizon of 1404, the comprehensive scientific map of the country and general policies of science and technology, tourism, sports tourism and their meanings are not mentioned. Tourism, sports tourism and their related meanings have been considered in the general policies of the Sixth Development Plan, the Sixth Economic, Social and Cultural Development Plan of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Basic Islamic-Iranian Model of Progress and increasing the importance of tourism for policy makers ultimately leads to codification of A strategic document for the development of tourism in Iran. After the announcement of the general policies of the Sixth Development Plan, the tourism policy and sports tourism of the Islamic Republic of Iran have undergone evolution and subsequent documents give the great importance to this industry. However, it seems that in order to achieve the desired result, the implementation of policies related to tourism and sports tourism should be continuously emphasized and evaluated.

Although sports tourism in our country has attracted a lot of attention as an evolving industry, researches in the field of destination management and marketing are still limited. The purpose of this study was to investigate the enhancing of sports tourism competitiveness of Iran through the tourism experience quality. The research method was descriptive-correlational. For this purpose, 245 sports tourists which travelled to Iran as a sports tourism destination, completed two questionnaires about the perceived destination competitiveness (Hallman et al., 2014), and the tourism experience quality (Meng, 2006). Questionnaires validity were evaluated and approved by experts (content validity), and structural equation modelling (construct validity). Smart-PLS software was used for data analysis. The findings indicated that the quality of different phases of tourism experience including pre-travel planning, en-route, on-site and post-travel reflection, can enhance the perception of sport tourists from Iran's competitiveness as a sports tourism destination. Hence, it can be concluded that tourism experience is not solely limited to the boundaries of a tourism destination and involves from the moment of decision to travel until returning from it; and providing high-quality tourism experiences in all phases, will enhance the tourists' perceptions from Iran's sports tourism competitiveness, and achieve a competitive edge among the alternative sports tourism destinations.

For any measurement and evaluation, the existence of reliable indicators and criteria is necessary to make a more accurate assessment. The aim of this study is to design a model for evaluating the development of sports tourism in Iran. The method of the present study was descriptive-survey, the research is presented in the following two sections; in the first section, which was based on interviews, open, central and selective coding was performed. Based on the response of 15 experts and background literature review , A set of 34 indicators of aspects of sports tourism development was created. According to the panel group of experts, 28 effective indicators in the development of sports tourism were identified. And based on the approval of the panel group, a conceptual model of Iran's sports tourism development evaluation indicators was obtained. Finally, 24 questions were identified as quantitatively appropriate and the questionnaire was given to 210 people from the second study population. Based on the type of coding, the axes related to Iran's sports tourism development evaluation indicators and according to the research literature, economic, political, communication, infrastructure and management axes were selected as sports tourism development evaluation indicators, and in addition, sub-axes of sports tourism development evaluation indicators. They also identified a model that could be used to assess the development of sports tourism. According to the research model, economic, political, communication, infrastructure and management indicators were identified as criteria and indicators for evaluating the development of sports tourism.

Sport tourism is the most important part of the tourism industry. The purpose of this research is to design a model for developing sport tourism in hidden areas which was used by qualitative research method. In this study, using a glaser approach the grounded theory methodology, a profound interview was carried out with 16 experts specializing in sports and sports tourism management. The results of the analysis of interviews and coding showed The socio-cultural role of the local and regional community, the role of government policies, the geographical features of the region, the characteristics of tourists, the general and sporting features of the hidden areas, and the role of the responsible organizations have a lot of impact on sport tourism development of Hidden areas and Income, employment, social welfare and the promotion of culture were introduced as development outcomes. Currently, our country does not have good performance in the field of sports tourism, especially the hidden areas. Therefore, if we develop in this field, communications will be strengthened politically. It also has positive cultural exchanges and the promotion of the culture and tradition of hidden areas and Introducing the brand in different areas will bring many positive social effects to our country. Finally, proposals was presented for the development of sports tourism in hidden areas.

The aim of present study was to design sports tourism development model with AIDAR advertising platform in mass media. The research method is combined and field-based. The statistical population consisted of the experts of sport and championship and tourism specialists. In the qualitative section, 384 people were selected using the targeted sampling method and the snowball, and in the quantitative part according to Morgan table. The tool for measuring this research in the qualitative section was a questionnaire and in the quantitative section, a questionnaire from the qualitative section was used. After theoretical saturation, a factor analysis was confirmed and media impact questionnaire on the development of sport tourism with the AIDAR advertising framework, consisting of 5 components and 41 items, was obtained and reliability was 0.89 by Cronbach's alpha coefficient. K-S, exploratory factor analysis and Friedman test were used to analyze the data. Structural equation analysis method was used to present the model. All statistical operations were performed using SPSS version 22 and Amos software. The results of the study showed that there is a significant difference between the factors affecting the development of sport tourism with the AIDAR advertising framework and through the media from the viewpoint of the research samples, so that from the perspective of the research sample, the "informed roles" have the highest rank and "role" Action Plans (Buying) "ranked the lowest in the factors influencing the development of sports tourism with the AIDAR advertising framework and through the media.

The purpose of this research is to identify the factors affecting sport tourism and its developmental model. It is an applied research in terms of purpose and descriptive survey in terms of methodology. The statistical population of the research was include of stakeholders who were educated in two different field of tourism. and also Ph.D. holders or faculty members in sports management with at least two published papers in the area of sports tourism or at least 10 years of senior management experience (N=189). The whole population were considered as samples due to limited number of population. The research tool was a modified sport tourism questionnaire of Ghiami Rad and Moharam zadeh (1999). The face and content validity of the questionnaire was confirmed by 12 relevant experts and its validity was confirmed by the confirmatory factor analysis. Also, the reliability of the questionnaire was confirmed in a preliminary study, which was conducted on 30 members of the research community, and all Cronbach's alpha coefficients were more than 0.70, which indicated an appropriate reliability of the questionnaire. Descriptive and inferential statistics were used to analyze the collected data. To provide descriptive data, statistical frequency, frequency and frequency tables were used and for analyzing the data in the inferential statistics section, verification factors, exploratory factor analysis, single sample T, Friedman test and analysis Structural equations were used with SPSS and Amos version 23 software. The results showed that there is a significant priority between all the attracting, inhibiting and diving factors. Finally, the model of factors influencing the development of sport tourism in Iran was compiled and fitted using different fitting indexes such as absolute, comparative, Normandy, Tucker-Lewis, and Benthaler-Bonnet. The purpose of this study was Prioritization of affecting factors on the development of sports tourism with emphasis on sports natural attractions in Alborz Province. The statistical sample is equal with statistical population (N=75) including three groups: sports association expertise (n=40), expertise of tourism agencies (n=20) and expertise of cultural and tourism heritage organization (n=15). Research data has been collected by standard questionnaire. Validity and reliability of questionnaire has been confirmed by the advice of professors and Chronbach's Alpha coefficient respectively. For data analyzing have been used from Kolmogorov–Smirnov, Fridman and kruskal wallis. The results showed that there is not significance difference between perspectives of three groups of expertise based on Prioritization of the natural/sports attractions in Alborz Province. Also, among the natural/sports attractions for the development of tourism, the attractions related to winter sports and hill climbing and Ecotourism are in first and second priorities respectively. Generally, Alborz province has many natural/sports attractions for sports tourists. Thus for the development of sports tourism, education of expert human resources, employment of educated and specialist staff, proper management with the right decisions and appropriate actions is necessary.
